TradeMore Acceptable Use Policy

What's in this policy?

This policy sets out our general community standards that apply when you use the TradeMore Platform, upload content to the Platform, communicate with other users of the Platform (whether homeowners or tradespeople), or interact with the Platform in any other way. Please read this policy alongside our Terms of Use.

Our aim is to ensure that we can keep the Platform a safe and open environment for all users. We want our Platform users to connect with each other in a positive and friendly way.

The Platform is operated by Vetted Limited, trading as "TradeMore". Our registered office is at Focus Point, 21 Caledonian Road, London, N1 9DX. Our registered number is 04285394.

Your responsibility when using the Platform

We expect our users of our Platform to agree to the following standards to create a safe environment for all our other users.

These standards must be complied with in spirit as well as to the letter. We will determine, in our sole discretion, whether any use of the Platform, or any content, breaches these standards.

We expect users to be polite and considerate when communicating with us or other users on the Platform.

To unlock the full benefit of using this Platform and the messaging function, we encourage you to communicate using the Platform functionality where its practical to do so.

Prohibited Uses

There is certain behaviour that we will not tolerate when using the Platform, including when you communicate with other users of the Platform or post content in the Platform.

You may not use our Platform:

• if you are under the age of 18;
• in any way that is illegal, unlawful or fraudulent;
• for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm any person, business, entity, minor or vulnerable people in any way;
• for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm a tradesperson's business or entity either by damage to their reputation or by inputting false information or jobs;
• to input fake reviews or put pressure on anyone to provide inaccurate or fake reviews;
• to bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate people;
• to violate the privacy of others, disclose any personal or confidential information, cause annoyance, inconvenience, or needless anxiety;
• to promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;
• to impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person;
• to send unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam);
• to reverse engineer, decompile, dissemble, decipher or otherwise derive the code used within the Platform;
• to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sub-licence, broadcast, distribute, sell, re-brand or re-sell any part of the Platform (without our express consent);
• to knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, logic bombs, corrupted data, malicious software, harmful data, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.

Content Standards

In addition, you may not create or upload anything in the Platform which:

• contains any content or material which is or may reasonably be considered to be threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, instigate acts of terrorism, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, or in breach of confidence;
• infringes the copyright or any intellectual property rights of any person (and, where such content relates to an image, you must ensure that all necessary consents and authorisations have been obtained);
• is, or may reasonably be considered to be, illegal or infringe the rights of any third party, in any country in the world or promote illegal activity;
• contains anything that brings, or is likely to bring, our name, business, or brand into disrepute (in our reasonable opinion);
• gives the impression that the content emanates from us (if this is not the case).

If you don't comply with this policy

If we consider that you have breached this policy, we may take such action as we deem appropriate including the deactivation of your account.

Failure to comply with this acceptable use policy constitutes a material breach of ourTerms of Useupon which you are permitted to use our Platform, and may result in our taking action, which might include (but isn't limited to) all or any of the following actions:

• withdrawal of your right to use our Platform;
• removal of any content uploaded by you to our Platform;
• issuing a warning to you; or
• disclosure of information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary or as required by law.

The actions we may take are not limited to those described above, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
